The role is responsible for an Embedded Development group of Centers of Excellence (CoE). Candidate should have a highly developed set of managerial, analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and consulting capabilities. She or he should be able to define and execute the Centers of Excellence development strategy, build an efficient leadership team and run and control the execution of global Excellence initiatives for a group of Centers of Excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead competence management activities, competence development strategies, monitor execution;
- Establish a governance model in a group of CoEs;
- Together with CoE Heads and coordinators develop CoE strategies;
- Establish and support communication framework with key stakeholders (Center of Excellence experts, horizontal cross-functions, engineers;
- Elaborate and lead collaboration and governance of Centers of Excellence with Delivery and Locations, ensure CoE are mature and trusted partners for Delivery and Clients;
- Running initiatives brings business value (from idea to realization);
- Define and execute strategies for certifications and career path frameworks;
- Responsible for expertise showcase, market visibility, participation in marketing activities, roadshows, conferences etc. Building CoE brand (internal and external);
- Mentoring technical leaders.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in Management as Head of Center of Excellence, Head of Practice, Head of Unit/Department, Engineering/Competency manager;
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in the Embedded Software development area as Developer, Quality Assurance, others;
- Hands-on experience with one of the Embedded technology, i.e. С++, С, AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive etc;
- Understanding and experience with the competency management process (promotions, technical interviews, assessments, career path, career development etc.);
- Experience in the creation and implementation of Company-wide engineering standards (accelerators, templates, playbooks etc);
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset;
- Understanding of engineering trends;
- Track record of a successful launch of new programs, as well as active participation in pre-sales / up-sales activity;
- Experience working in multi-location setup;
- Advanced English;
- Higher Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree.
Nice to have:
- Business Education;
- Hands-on participation in R&D projects.
